Money is often equated with dollar bills, yet money is not paper. The energy of money can be found in dollar bills (and other currencies), but the energy of money is not exclusive to them. When we tune into the frequency of prosperity, we align with the energy often attributed to money—flow, trust, expansion—though this frequency is not limited to finances alone. This energy is our life force.
Through this alignment, we can become the money in and of itself: a walking source and resource, connection and clarity.

🌿 FREE Wellness Series – Rest Is Resistance: A Candlelit Yoga & Sound Bath for Black History Month with Shirley Johnson🌿
In honor of Black History Month, this candlelit yoga and sound bath experience is rooted in the powerful affirmation that rest is a form of resistance. Inspired by the teachings of Tricia Hersey and The Nap Ministry, this gathering invites us to reclaim rest as a sacred, liberatory act in a culture that glorifies exhaustion—especially for Black bodies and communities.
Held on February 17, during the New Moon and Lunar New Year, this evening carries the energy of renewal, intention, and new beginnings. The new moon asks us to turn inward, while the Lunar New Year marks a collective threshold into a fresh cycle—making this an especially potent time to slow down, listen deeply, and set intentions rooted in restoration rather than productivity.
Through gentle movement, stillness, and immersive sound healing, we will create space to soften, exhale, and remember that rest is not a reward, but a right.
Open to all, this practice centers the wisdom that slowing down is a way of healing, restoring dignity, and honoring ancestral resilience.
About the Teacher
Shirley Johnson is a licensed therapist and yoga teacher & sound healer with over 15 years of experience guiding others through practices of healing, embodiment, and restoration. Known for her warmth and grounded presence, she weaves together yoga, meditation, and sound healing to create spaces where people feel safe to soften, reconnect, and come home to themselves.

This class is designed for all levels—no prior experience needed. Come as you are, ready to exhale, restore, and settle into the nurturing embrace of winter’s calm.

The New Moon invites us into renewal, reflection, and possibility. This phase marks the beginning of a fresh cycle—an ideal time to quiet the mind, connect inward, and plant intentional seeds for what you are calling into your life. We will begin with a gentle guided meditation to slow down and center the body before shifting into transformative breathwork to clear stagnant energy and open space for clarity, vision, and emotional release. We’ll close our evening with a restorative gong bath to support deep relaxation, energetic integration, and a reset for the nervous system. All are welcome. Come as you are. The Sacred Pause: A Winter Solstice Kundalini & Gong Journey
As we arrive at the darkest day of the year, we are invited to honor the quiet wisdom of stillness. Sacred Pause is a 2.5-hour Kundalini yoga experience designed to help you slow down, restore, and realign with your inner light as we move through the sacred gateway of the Winter Solstice.
Our journey will begin with powerful Kundalini warm-ups to awaken and circulate energy through the spine and breath, followed by longer, yin-like and restorative postures that encourage deep release and inward reflection, followed by an extended gong bath and Kundalini Meditation
This class is appropriate for all levels—from beginners to experienced practitioners—with modifications and variations offered to meet each body where it is.
The pacing will be intentionally slow and meditative, honoring the stillness that this season calls forth. Together, we will move from activation into surrender, from doing into being—inviting a sense of deep renewal.
The practice will weave in breathwork, chanting, and a long, immersive gong bath for sound healing and integration. You’ll be guided to rest into vibration and silence, allowing body, mind, and spirit to harmonize.
We’ll close with tea and light snacks in community—nourishing the heart as we gently return to the world, grounded and glowing.

Winter Solstice Kundalini Aquarian Sadhana - FREE
Join Shirley (Siri Pritam) for Aquarian Sadhana to honor the start of the Winter Season. Aquarian Sadhana, beloved to Kundalini yogis, occurs during the ambrosial hours of the early morning and is a practice of meeting ourself before the sun rises and paying homage to the sacredness of the day. Winter Solstice marks the height of Moon energy and and an invitation inward into the sacred quiet of winter to cultivate our intuition. This 2.5 hour practice is devotion in action for the mind, body, and soul. This special offering is free to the community, with donations accepted. A few additional notes: *Please come in silence. We honor this sweet time of the morning by not talking much and practicing together. *This is NOT a kundalini class with instruction - just guidance on leading the kriya and meditation. *You are welcome to modify or rest at any time during the practice. *If you can, please bring a pillow or cushion and a meditation shawl (optional). Wear light clothing and bring a head covering such as a scarf, shawl, or hat (white or color, not black). Shirley will provide tea for after class.
